I just wanted to take some time to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day! With a federal government that has obviously forgotten how we got where we are and a president who not only doesn’t support the troops but shows utter disrespect and disdain for our soldiers, I am both angry and sad. Our soldiers fight for us to be safe. They are doing what they do so that we can be free, even if we are letting that freedom be taken from us by Barack Obama and the other socialists. By sitting by and letting them do this, we are making the sacrifice of our soldiers, both current and past, worth nothing. They are putting their lives on the line for us and what do we give them in return?

To Jimmy, Randy, Will, Vinnie, Tom, Butch, Norman, Joe, David, and so many others that have served and are serving – THANK YOU! There are some that still understand why you’re doing what you’re doing and we appreciate it. Please know that we love you and appreciate your sacrifice, regardless of the government.

May God bless and protect the soldiers of our nation. May He watch over them as they work and sleep. May He give them wisdom and strength to accomplish their mission and come home alive and safe. May He reach down and save those who are not His that they may be spared His wrath on that day. May our soldiers always glorify God in their words and their actions. May their sacrifice remind us of the Lord Jesus, His sacrifice, and His words:

Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)

We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. (1 John 3:16)

If you see or know soldiers, please tell them thank you!
