Also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, and the older brother of Japheth, children were born. The sons of Shem were Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram. The sons of Aram were Uz and Hul and Gether and Mash. Arpachshad became the father of Shelah; and Shelah became the father of Eber. Two sons were born to Eber; the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan. Joktan became the father of Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah and Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah and Obal and Abimael and Sheba and Ophir and Havilah and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan. Now their settlement extended from Mesha as you go toward Sephar, the hill country of the east. These are the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, by their lands, according to their nations. These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, by their nations; and out of these the nations were separated on the earth after the flood.

This week, we continue to look at the lineage of Noah through his sons. Specifically, we will look at the descendants of Shem. As I said yesterday, if you’ll watch as we move through Genesis, you’ll see that we are narrowing everything down to one man and his family. Shem’s descendants will one day be known as the Shemites (Semites) or Hebrews. While many of the names will probably not be familiar, a couple may have a ring to them. At Ease Tees now has a Facebook fan page. We keep updates on our blogs, our designs, and all of the other events we are involved in on that page. We have also started posting discussion threads on our page so that our fans can join in some invigorating discussion about Biblical topics. The only thing that we ask is that the discussions are civil and with the understanding that there are children reading.  We hope that you will become involved with our discussions and our page and give us ideas on how we can make our ministry better!

This week’s pick is a great design by Upstream Designs. It is called Alien and shows the word “alien” with an actually alien for the “I”. It also says “til heaven calls me home”. This is something that I know that I sometimes forget. The Bible says that Christians are not to be of the world.  We are not supposed to look like the world, act like the world, think like the world, talk like the world, or live like the world. I really have to wonder if  some Christians know what that means though. Continue Reading Design of the Week – Crossover Blog – Alien…

Upcoming stuff!

To everyone who reads my blog (if you’re still here…:) ), I apologize for not being consistent in posting. It’s something that I’m working on. Speaking of working on stuff, I’ve got some new things that I’m really excited about!

I’m going to start posting about my t-shirt shop along with national and world events. When I started this blog, I looked at it as a way for me to just share what I’ve learned from the Bible and how it applies to the world around us. Since then, I’ve realized that all of that is only part of it. I wanted to write about what I’m doing as well. The shop that I’ve started is to help evanglize the world. I have a burden for the lost and part of that has manifested itself as my shop. I will try not to make it just a shop blog, but I hope to have pics and videos of things that go on. This year, I’m hoping to start being at different area events as well as being more aggressive about reaching the lost. I hope to have more participation with others, here and in person!

I’m expecting this year to be completely different from any other year, and looking ahead to whatever God has for me! I hope that you will have the time to be a part of it all!

Here’s to a great 2008 and a closer walk with God for all of us!
